These are our exact reproductions of the Dumb Irons found on Series 1, 86” & 107” Land Rovers built from 1954–58. We have gone to great care to capture all the details including the shape of the chassis rail, the spring hangers' one-piece web, and 2 different thickness spacers.

Our Dumb Irons are 400mm long, taking them past the front crossmember, and they have the exact same profile as the original chassis rail - giving you maximum flexibility around where you place the join. The final result will be seamless and will not leave you with a step in the chassis rail.

Engineering requirements change from region to region so please contact a suitably qualified engineer to discuss your plans before you commence any chassis repairs.

Fabricated in our workshop, these parts ship in red oxide primer.
