Excellence Drives Us.

The very first Land Rover we restored rolled into our workshop in 2018, it was an ex-Australian Army Perentie GS. Before then we exclusively restored military vehicles for collectors and museums.

The greatest challenge in restoring military vehicles is the scarcity of original parts. When components can’t be sourced, they must be fabricated. But these aren’t just functional replacements—they must replicate the originals with absolute precision, because “close enough” simply isn’t good enough. Over the years, we’ve fabricated hundreds of parts and have become highly skilled at it.

When we started working with Land Rovers it quickly became apparent that a large number of parts on the market simply weren’t good enough and some simply didn’t fit or work at all! So we started making our own.

We focus on delivering quality.

Word got out on the forums and social media outlets and the phone started ringing. It turns out we weren’t the only ones that demanded the best parts available for their restorations, so we listed our parts for sale on the mil-specrestorations.com.au website, our fist web sale came on the 28th May 2021.

Since 2021 our inventory has grown steadily, with part No. 300 released mid 2025. The quality and accuracy of our parts are becoming known worldwide with sales to the US, UK, Europe, Canada and NZ growing steadily. In December 2025 we launched our own independent Antipodean Parts webstore.

We are dedicated to providing the best parts available. Every part we fabricate is reverse engineered from multiple original samples, no guess work, no reproducing others mistakes. Every part goes through multiple prototypes, always being compared to the original source parts and finally tested by us before being released.

We are humble enough to know it’s not possible to know every change Land Rover made over the years and we’ve missed some, but rest assured if we find we’ve missed something we always go back and incorporate the discovery into the part.

Our parts look, fit and perform as good as, or better than, the original and will be hands down better than what else is on the market otherwise we wouldn’t make it.

Near enough isn’t good enough for us either.
Sincerely,
Jason Boulter
