Chassis restorations
We’ve been restoring Land Rover chassis since 2018. Our restorations are known Australia wide for their quality, seamless integration of replacement sections and accuracy to the original.
We have a safety first philosophy when restoring a chassis and work with a VASS certified automotive engineer. All our repairs are carried out to engineering best practices and nothing is left to chance.
Our process is thorough to make sure you get the best and safest chassis repair possible. All chassis are photographed, measured and documented to capture all variations, body mounting points and unique features before any work begins.
Using our extensive knowledge of where and what to look for, we remove all damaged and rusted components and sections that need to be replaced, cutting away the rust damage until we reach solid metal. The chassis is then sandblasted and inspected a second time to make sure we’ve removed all the rust. All internal sections are then treated with a de-rusting agent before we start the repairs.
Once the repairs have been completed we seal the inside of the chassis with a rust inhibitor before the chassis is finished in our 2 pac paint system.
