This is our accurate reproduction of the dumb irons found on 1952-53 Series 1, 80” Land Rovers with the wide leaf springs.

The spring hangers on these parts are offset on one side only, and the front and rear web are folded/flanges of the inner vertical plate.

Our dumb irons are 400mm long, taking them past the front crossmember giving you maximum flexibility around where to locate the join. Our parts share the exact dimensions of the original chassis rail regardless of where they are cut and joined. The final result will be seamless and will not leave you with a step in the chassis rail.

Engineering requirements change from region to region, so please contact a suitably qualified engineer to discuss your plans before you commence any chassis repairs.

Fabricated in our workshop, they ship in red oxide primer.
