This is our reproduction of the removable transmission crossmembers found on the Australian Army's Series 2a, 88" Land Rovers.
The Australian Army introduced this modification to simplify and hasten the removal of the transmission. It's a great mod that cuts an half-day job down to 30 minutes! Not limited to military 2a’s, our part can be added to any 88”.
All crossmembers come with brackets to be welded to your chassis and all the fasteners required.
Our parts are finished in red oxide primer.
