This is an exact reproduction of the bump stop plate found on all Series 2 2a & 3 Land Rover chassis.
There are 2 variants of the bump stop plate, the plate for the front axle has an extra strip of steel spot welded to it to account for the curve in the chassis rail the rear plate doesn't. We fabricate both types so please make your selection from the drop down menu.
These are almost always affected by rust damage to the chassis section it is welded to. As the chassis rusts, it deforms the plate causing it to dome outwards. One needs to remove the plate to repair the chassis, and in most cases the plate also needs replacing.
Fabricated in our workshop, these parts ship in red oxide primer.
