Our steering damper bracket can be either bolted or welded on and is an exact copy of the brackets found on Series 2a and 3 Australian Land Rovers. This part can be retro-fitted to all Series vehicles not originally fitted with one.
Fabricated by us, we've replicated every detail, including the 80mm width between the fixing points. The extra width was to allow the Land Rover Australia employee to easily slide it into place over the chassis rail welds.
The tops of both sides of the bracket are welded into place, and the bottoms are then hammered and/or pulled in with a clamp before being welded into position.
