This is our faithful reproduction of the impossible-to-find replacement pin for the lower swivel pin, complete (217421). It can also be used to replace the splined pin on the upper steering arm (pendant-type ball joints) and convert it to a double bearing setup.
Suitable for Series 1 and early Series 2 Land Rovers with top-mounted steering levers (arms).
Instructions: Punch out the retaining pin, press out the splined pin, press in this one. Using the existing retaining pin hole as a pilot drill through the swivel pin and fit a new retaining pin. Now you can use the same bearing as the lower swivel pin and retain your steering levers (arms) top-mounted.
This part is precision-machined by us on our CNC lathe.
